Before you start your driving test you will have an eyesight check and the examiner will do the ‘show me tell me’ questions. They will ask you one ‘tell me’ question, where you will be expected to explain to the examiner how to carry out a safety task, and one ‘show me’ question where you will be asked to show the examiner how you would carry out a safety check.
If you give the wrong answer for one or both questions, you’ll be marked with one driving fault.
